I decided to experiment with a portable power source for the scroll saw. When you go to some craft shows power is not always available. Selling scroll saw art can be confusing to your customers. Many of them will have never seen a scroll saw. They will often ask if the art was cut with a laser.
It can be very impressive to the potential customer to see you demonstrate that each cut was made with a tiny blade on a saw.
If you have a power source you are all set. Sometimes that's not the case.
I can not guarantee the results from this experiment because I have not tested it under the same environment as you would have at a craft show demonstration. That said my test shows promise.
If you have any expertise with using a product like this with a scroll saw I would like to hear about your experiences. Please only give me actual confirmed data or actual experiences. I would appreciate the feedback.

Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them. __________________________
