I thought that Woody The Skeleton needed a friend. Here is Spooky the black cat. Spooky is over 10 inches long. He is just about as easy a pattern as I can make. Five parts to cut and only one interior cut. If you plan to put spooky outside make sure you use water proof glue like Titebond III. Give Spooky a few coats of an exterior paint. He may not have nine lives outside but he should hold up for a few Halloweens.

I did my best to get some pictures from the Artistry in Wood show. I'll post a couple of the scroll saw artist that were at the show today then some of the carvers tomorrow.
Let me apologize now for not getting pictures from all the scroll saw artists who were there. These are just two who I had time to spend some time with.
Tom Winkelbach:
I had the pleasure to spend several minutes with Tom, his daughter and grandson. They were absolutely the reason these shows are so much fun to visit. Fantastic artists and genuinely nice people. Thank you Tom and family for being so kind to me. I enjoyed our visit so much.
Tom is a master with the scroll saw. When you look at these pictures make sure you check out the detailed approach and incredible technique. It was impressive to say the least.
Heart of Ohio Scrollers:
These guys were at the show representing the Heart of Ohio Scroll Saw Club. For some reason Ohio is a hotbed of scrolling talent. I apologize for not getting the names of the guys but this was early just before the doors opened and I had to rush back to my booth. Check out some of what they had to show. There were many projects that you won't see here that were equally impressive. Thanks for the conversation guys.

Now that I am back from Ohio I will start cranking the orders out. I'll do my best to get caught up tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
