This stacked ring hollow vase can be used as a candle holder or just an art piece. If you use it as a candle holder it will accept up to a 2 3/4" diameter candle. There are no built-in safety features if you use a real candle. Do not let the candle burn down lower than the top of the vase.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please read.....
The Scrollsaw Workshop email newsletter will be getting an upgrade. I am going to move to a different email distribution system. This will initially be a test. During the testing, you may receive duplicate newsletters. My plan is to leave the old system running while I get the new system working well. I appreciate your patience during this migration. This post should be the first deliverd by the new service.
Boring behind the scenes information: Read in you are interested.....
My current email delivery system is just not keeping up with my current needs. I am receiving comments almost every day that the newsletter is not getting to your inbox. There are a few reasons for this problem but it's just not working well enough. I need to make a change. I send out well over 1 million newsletters a month so you can understand why it can get complicated.
It is a tough decision because the change will cost hundreds of dollars a month. The current email delivery system is free. Free is good when it works but bad when it doesn't. My business model is somewhat unique. I give away my patterns to bring in traffic and I make my income from donations, advertising, and selling a few items. This model only works if you can bring in enough traffic. You have to have lots of folks because only a small percentage of readers will make a donation or buy a DVD. I understand that and it's perfectly fine if you do not wish to donate. It is my decision to do it this way.
To generate traffic I have to make it easy for people to see what I do. The Email newsletter is a large part of that process. There are thousands of readers who only get my newsletter. They never visit the blog. The newsletter is simply a copy of the daily blog post. The newsletter is more effective because it is delivered to you automatically. You have to make a conscious decision to visit the blog. You can see why the newsletter is so important.
All of these things make it clear I need to do something different. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it. :) The daily patterns will always be free. I will never change that. I will shut the blog down before I will try to charge for the patterns.
What will change for you as a reader? Hopefully very little. I will migrate the current subscriber list to the new service. You will not have to sign up for the new system. I will schedule the email to be delivered at the same time as it is now. The look of the newsletter may be different. Hopefully better.
I will do everything in my power to make the migration transparent to you. I'm smart enough to know that there will be problems until I get it working right. Please feel free to let me know what is working and not working during the change.
