Let me apologize for another spelling typo in yesterday's Bigfoot pattern. I have corrected the error and you can download the correction below. I renamed this pattern so you need to delete the one from yesterday and use this one. I also corrected the blog for yesterday's post but that will not affect the newsletter. That cannot be corrected so you should delete that email.
Today's pattern is about freedom. The eagle is often considered the symbol of strength, courage, and freedom.
Freedom is a fundamental human right because it allows individuals to make decisions for themselves, think and speak their minds, choose their path in life, and associate with anyone they want. We all deal with some restrictions on our freedom but as a general rule, we should demand from our governments as much freedom as possible. Here is the kicker, with freedom comes a great deal of responsibility. If we abuse our freedom then we lose our freedom. I can't tell you where the limits of abusing freedoms are but if you look at the hot topics in the news you probably can get a good starting point. We are a nation of diverse ideas. Not everyone is going to agree with what freedoms are welcome. That diversity is a strength but it also makes setting standards difficult. The standards need some flexibility but only your personal moral, social, and fiscal standards can set your limits of what is too far. Be resolute in your standards but also be flexible when flexibility is reasonable. Jumping off my soapbox....
